Jim Shiner came to faith in Christ through his wife Tammy in 1987. They were married later that year and have five adult children and ten grandchildren.

 

After serving in the US Air Force for 6 years, Jim was a full-time pastor in the northwest from 1994-2025, serving in three churches. He recently relocated and serves as the lead pastor of Noonday Baptist in Georgia.

 

Jim and Tammy founded this ministry taking their first trip to Uganda in 2007.  Since that time they have taken over a dozen trips to Uganda in support of the non-profit which was formally established in 2014.
